My name is Nikki and yes, I am in fact quite the Harry Potter fan, if this didn't already give it away.

I am a writer and blogger working on trying to carve out my own niche within the world. I adore the written word, have an affinity for cheese of any kind and a great big glass of red wine, and could spend the next 50 years at Target and still not be bored of it. I'm a Gryffindor, a proud college graduate, and an ENFP. I've got a big, loud, loving family, filled with matriarchs, and I myself tend to be opinionated to a fault.

This blog is a chance to flex my creative muscles, primarily by writing down what is happening to me during this big change in my life. I currently live in the Raleigh area but am originally from Atlanta, and am very excited to see what's in store for both me and my wife Ashley as we move forward towards our next phase of life.
